When is this making its debut? Not until the M5 debuts? That would be too long to wait... I hope it's sooner than that but with everyone looking so forward to the M5 reveal I've heard little about the M sport pack, which I have (and love) on my e60. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I have heard it could be between 9 & 12 months after the launch of the F10.

At least for the UK this was roughly the timeline for E60...

Mid September 2003 - E60 launch was launched

End June 2004 - BMW dealer said it would be ~1 year before MSport availability
Beginning July - Place order for E61, delivery 1/October

Mid August - MSport versions announced, dealer fails to tell me

Beginning September - First MSport deliveries hit UK
Beginning October - Collect new E61 from dealer and see MSport version

This time around, the popularity in the UK of the E60 MSport version is so high that it might be quicker - especially with the bland design of the plain vanilla F10. I spoke to a dealer at launch, who thought it would be ~ 1 year. On telling him the car is boring and I'll wait, he thought there might be news in the summer... I hope they get similar feedback from others, so BMW marketing department makes a pretty simple decision.
