Just bought 2012 F10 528i and have $3k for mods!

I need your expert (and non-expert/humble) opinions. I have never owned a BMW, or a turbocharged engine. I have heavily modified my Nissan Titan gas truck, so I have some mechanical experience and an eagerness to learn/experiment with my car.

This is where I need your help. If you had $3000 to mod your car what would you do?

My goals are:
1. to keep her cool in the summer as I live in New Orleans, LA
2. to go fast
3. to get decent mpg at interstate speeds (if possible after go fast mods)
4. to remove the chrome around the kidney grills and side windows (I am not old enough to appreciate chrome yet)

The car has 17 inch wheels and non-sport pkg.

I plan on being an active participant here now that I am a new inductee to the BMW club, and I may post some questions for dumb things I do not know so help me blow some of my money guys!

Welcome, and thanks!
Chris

I was able to figure everything else out, and I would like to say that your car looks GOOD...but I have no idea what or how to do this. Could you give me a little guidance?

Chris

Hey Sunny, I just realized you are in Dallas. I am picking up my new Bimmer this Saturday outside of Dallas (Weatherford, TX). My flight gets in at 9am, so I should have this deal wrapped up around 1pm after commute and all. I understand that it is a little late in the game and that you probably have plans, but if you are sitting around the house any chance you could help me code my new car?

Sunny,
Do you have all the steps for the coding that you done? If so do you have them in a easy to follow format and where can I get the cable?
