My Ride: 2008 535i LCI with sports/premium package, Sports trans with paddle shifters, CF emblems, JB4 Software, Dinan Exhaust, Navigation, M5Tech body kit, Carbon wrap interrior trim and CIC Controller.
The M package is simply a trim package. Often comes with emblems on the wheels, steering wheel, door sills, gear shifter and sometimes seat trim. You will also see some ground effect type side skirts, and bumpers. NEVER do they apply the M emblem on the rear trunk lid. This is done by someone after they finished smoking something... And of course, the M engine is not in these cars. They become more popular towards the end of a car production cycle to increase the sales of the remaining cars.

I think it is simply a "Doosh" that doesn't know anything about what to do with cars and how to customize it. Plus it is not even lined up correctly with the reast and top and bottom is off.
I have a feeling the owner is "sloppy,slapy" type of owner.

Funny thing is that the target audience who would even appreciate the weight that an M badge carries can clearly delineate what is or is NOT an M, so I'm really at a loss for words LOL

not a good look, but that's not as bad as a E60 M badged 520D that I have seen today... most people debadge but to add an M badge is just

Has it got like 5 turbos?
I've actually seen people who put their ///M badge on their kidney grills (to copy the similarity of the RS/S badge on Audis). I thought that made the grills look crap. Not a good look.

Actually, on that note, would you folks choose an Audi R8 V10 over...say the new F10 M5 or the upcoming F13 M6? I would appreciate it if you guys would provide an honest answer. And, yes this is the BMW forum so there may be some biased opinions, but no matter. Just please post. ^^
