Yep, pretty universal agreement it will be introduced in 2010. Let's see 4 + 6 = 10, yep 2010! :D

Delayed availability of the E39 until summer of '06 for Europe and late '06 for the US.
I don't recall why, but the US did get a redesigned lower dash for better knee protection.

I didn't know anyone was confused about this. It's a MY2011 car coming out in 2010.

BMW usually keeps things VERY close to the vest. There are too many photos/spy shoots and information available for it to be too far off. The e60 came out in 2003 and then BMW moved up many introductions to March, 6 mos earlier than the more usual September intros.
The new TT V8 will be out in a few months too.
I am going to the BMWCCA breakfast at the Javits Center, NYC at the end of March for the Int'l Auto Show. If they talk about the F10 there, then it will be a March '09 intro as a 2010 model.
