My Ride: E60
Hey guys,
I've been off this forum for close to a year I think but yesterday I just went in and bought an F10, 523i. So I guess today
is the day I sell off my E60 520d.
Questions:
The stock car comes with some hideous rims, 17" and I've been wondering what options are there out there for real good
looking ones.... My previous E60 had M166 (M6 offset) rims and it really made it look good.
What are the options/rims that you guys are using these days?
At the showroom, they had an F10 with 20" rims (V spoke 331's) but I'd like to see what ideas others have or are using....
Great to be back, finally!

Hi BigMike, I knew you'll be back
The F10 needs 20" wheels (245/35 - 275/30). F10 M Sport and M5 wheels are not hot enough.
Look for wheels on the new 6-series or wait for the coming M6 wheels.

I'm picking up my new car this Saturday! It's a Space Grey 523i (6-cylinder). The
wheels that come with it are 17" and very very bland looking.
BMW Taiwan has a promotion of:
V-spoke 356, Bicolor 20" rims on Dunlop RFT
Replacement of front grill in black
White Line rear lights (seen in this picture attached)
Carbon fiber Spoiler
For USD$6,633.
What you think of white line rear lights?

the waiting period was 10 months which threw me back into the same spot and I think I'm kind of
glad I didn't go for an "SUV"...
I agree that the F10 definitely needs 20"s to look right. I'm really having problems finding rims
that I like since BMW this time around hasn't made the perfect rim for the 5'er. I really liked the
M166's of the previous E60. Even one of the X6 rims look nice, the previous M3 rims also look nice......
but I really can't find an F10'er rim that makes me go 'yep, that's the one'....
Ricracing, how is the ride with 20" on yours? I'm thinking of going RFT this time so I can have some
peace of mind when the wife drives it.... Just wondering how people feel of the new RFT 19" and 20"..

I put 20inch 2011 750 M wheels just 2 days ago . Looks great but need to be lowered!!! The only thing i dont like about these wheels is the huuuming noise from run flats.
