 just wondering!? Anyone know. Its been 3 days already! Should I ask the dealer not to do the prep work as I heard they can damage the paint. AND when do they install the front plate bracket I don't want a front plate AT ALL no holes no NOTHING.

It can usually take up to 2 weeks. You are always going to have minor hairline scratches on any new delivery but you don't see them because they use a silicone spray shine on them to cover them up (dealer trick). First time you wash your car and the silicone washes off, there they are again. Personally I just let them PDI/prep & clean it and then I will usually get all the imperfections out but that will happen with any dealer. These cars are filthy when they arrive. I think they ship them bare whereas Audi/VW wrap the cars.
I believe usually when you do not want the front plate installed/drilled, you tell them that during the signing of the contract. So I would contact your salesman ASAP and let him know so he can go back and tell them. |
While two weeks is possible, a priority 1 car which you ordered should be quicker than that. I would guess a week max unless the VPC is unusually busy...
