The 5 series GT is UGLY.

Am I right to assume that only the rear of the F10 will be different from the GT? If so the I may just hang on to my E60.

well....i can say at first I thought the e60 was ugly, I think it was just a bit ahead of it's time in terms of design...Now I think the e60 is one of the best looking cars in it's class...

The F01/7series is starting off the same way for me...ugly at first, but I am seeing a few the road, at the dealership, parking garages....it's growing on me...even the back lights SLOWLY

I am sure the F10 will follow the same path for me...no matter what I am sure I will end up in an F10 eventually

Me personally - I loved the e60 rightaway, loved the F01 rightaway and ... err... 5 Series GT is like where the f@*k were the exterior designers when this car was made??? I sure hope that the production F10 will do to the GT look what the M-Tech kit did to e60 (except, in this case its a necessity).

I agree that I did not care for the e60 body style when I first saw it but it did not take long for me to become a fan. I think 5 series loyalists will follow the car as BMW grows it!

just my opinion....i believe the GT is a concept car that BMW will debut prior to the f10 launch, thats what they usually do. i think most of the final version of the f10 will look like the gt but with some differences...namely no hatchback, and the mirrors are too radical looking for a production car.
i personally dont like it at all...looks like a mitsubishi lancer. but you cant blame bmw really, this stupid EU law mandating the front of all cars be square is killing the designs of everything. just look at how ugly the new MB e-class is.

The new 5 series GT in a line of itself.

The new F10/11 will not look the same, this fact is from official BMW sources.

I'm sure the F10 will grow on just about all of us, I personally really like the F01, and they appear to be VERY similar!!
