Default Help with trans interchange 8HP45

Hoping someone can help me out. I have a 2011 535i RWD WBAFR7C53BC602857 with a bad trans (ZF 8HP45 with model code on white sticker of 023WG5 / 7606582). I am looking at a used trans out of another 2011 535i RWD- VIN WBAFR7C51BC606020. I don't know the code from the white sticker on that one. What do I need to do to confirm that the used one will fit / work with the car? I can swap the control unit easily enough since I know that the car might need to be coded to the new/used transmission - but what about the sub model on the white sticker? Is that just electronic differences and i am ok either with the coding or the old control module, or is there a difference that makes use of this used transmission a problem?

larger picture - what is the cross - compatibility of the transmissions from F10s? I have been told that 2011 is the only one without start/stop so even a 2012 represents problems. Does anyone know if that is true and even if so, is that just in the brain so I am good if I swap modules?

Anything you can share would be helpful. The used trans is 2 hours away and I don't get the impression they will take it back if it doesn't work.

If anyone is in Indy and would be willing to go look at / view the white sticker on the trans that would be above and beyond. I would buy lunch when I come to get it even!

Thanks very much for any help I can get.

33 views and no opinions? Am I not on the internet? </s> Anybody have access to a Hollander guide? I am told that is the bee's knees regarding interchangeability? Thanks again for looking.
