Company car so budget restricted the number of options, but do have auto box - sport, I haven't discovered all its capabilities yet, but it seems very impressive, particularly like the added urgency when switched to Sport mode, Dark Ash Wood trim - looks superb with the metal trim and split/folding rear seats. The last one was a choice between that or heated seats, but with two children at University practicality came above comfort!

I would really have liked the SatNav package, but couldn't justify spending £1500 as I tend to stick to the same routes when driving! The small screen is very good, but the larger one looks superb.

Still getting good economy, 45 mpg on commute to work - mix of town, A roads and motorway and averaging 42mpg at the moment - was 33.5 in my old 525d Touring (manual). Other comments as I get used to it - I love the USB input, I can get nearly all my itunes collection on a 16GB stick. It takes a few minutes to load, but having such easy access to all that music is brilliant. The cruise control is far easier to use than on my previous cars and I have used it more in the last week than I did in the last five years! Children say there is far more room in the back - even my 6' 1" son is comfortable.

Will post some more photos when I get round to it!

Love the colour- can you tell me about your experience of the ''comfort access''. Does the car open as you approach, ie can you hear the locks or is it activated when you touch the handle?. Is it necessary to insert the key fob into a port to start the car?

Good luck with your new car.

Congratulations, DC100! Is your F10 on the Style 236 17" wheels? If it is, could you kindly post a profile shot - its the standard fit over where I live and I am curious as to how it would look on the F10.

I don't want to steal DC100's thunder, but if it saves him taking more pics, here is my new Space Grey F10 in profile with the standard 17" wheels

Many thanks and congratulations too! It looks quite good and much better than I expected. Did you find it to look too "small" for the F10 when compared to the 18"?

To be honest it was the thing I was most worried about before it arrived - I really wanted bigger wheels (my previous 325i coupe had 19") but decided to have a break from expensive tyres and took a risk that the 17" would look ok. Obviously the car looks a lot better with 18" or 19" wheels, but if you want to save a lot of money or choose different options, I actually found it looks ok with the standard 17" and was pleasantly surprised.

I am looking into the new 2008 BMW 135i. But I'm a little confused with the steptronic transmission. With the steptronic transmission option, is the car at all like a manual car (i.e clutch, manual shifting without using the steering wheel)? My friend had a 2003 BMW 330Li that was an automatic, but had the Tiptronic so he COULD shift manually if he wanted to. Is the new BMW 135i going to be an automatic first, manual second? I want a standard manual car with the OPTION to use the steering wheel to shift (without the clutch), but I want it to be a manual car First. And what is the difference between Tiptronic and Steptronic?

Probably even better with the 20" Was thinking of upgrading to the Style 328 - 18" but I guess that I will wait for the M wheels to come out instead.
