When I saw these pictures last week, I was pretty excited by the overall design. Its like a step back into BMW designs of the past although I am not too sure about proportions,.. short stumpy back and a long frontend.
I would give it the thumbs up anyway.

My Ride: 520d LCI, old engine, manual, black dakota, platingrau II, standard (242?) rims.
I wonder how the rear lights work. The inner part seems to be part of the trunk lid. I find it difficult to think that they would 'break' the lines. That would be a pity.

Premium, NAV, Winter Package, Heads Up Display, Logic 7 Audio, AngeliBright Upgrade [White], M5 Body Kit, M Embroidered Seats
Its hard to tell the stylings and curvings of the Chris Bangle design with that camo but it appears to have very strong lines and flow. I don't like the front air intake, grill. Makes it look very flat and unsporty like. The rear lights remind me of the Lexus GS for some reason....hope they are different. I see a lot of the new 7 stylings with this too (notice the bigger and more aggressive front grilles).
Will make for an interesting transition that's for sure..
