what is the point in buying a M5 if the engine is the same as 550 :thumbsdown:

i think the M5 should be a twin turbo V-10 that pushes 600 HP! that would be the shit. could you imagine what that car would sound like?

Disagree. The M5 is not about displacement wars. A twin turbo V10 contributes nothing to the performance of the M5 over the monster twin turbo V8. If anything I would say the 550i should have a regularly aspirated V8 and the twin turbo reserved for the M5. That very well may be the case.
