So the Ultimate Driving Event was in town, finally! But unfortunately it had to be on the day that I work the whole freakin day.

So on my 30 minute lunch break, I took the initiative to drive at least the 535i. I've already driven the counterparts, like the 2010 E350, and obviously the Lexus counterparts, and I gotta say, still no comparison to it's competitors!

It didn't feel any bigger than my 09 528i though, but I love the gauges. I love the layout of the dashboard. It feels "cooler" to the eyes especially when you're driving it for awhile (I would presume even though I only drove this thing for 12 miles).

The first thing I noticed (and didn't like) was that they made the turn signal flasher "noisier" than my 528i. No big deal, but that was one of my favorite things about my 528i. Secondly, the power difference wasn't really that significant. Maybe it's just me, but probably because the car is heavier now?? I never really got to drive an E60 535i or 550i.

Plus the alignment was bad already!! At 5k miles on the clock, the car was veering off to the right SIGNIFICANTLY when I let go of the steering wheel

Nevertheless, I can't wait till 2012 to get one

I wonder if that was one of the cars I saw on the trailer that had 6 F10's on it a while back - the plates are similar. The above car has WJA-68G. The only plate I was able to get on camera was WJA-18G. https://5series.net/forums/topic/977...home-from-work
