I spent the last week on vacation. Most of it was spent in the NC mountains driving the Z4 around. For the weekend we heading to Greenville, SC for the Southeast Sharkfest, a gathering of E24 coupes. We had fun at the Performance Center on Friday and had the show at the Zentrum Saturday. It appears that some BMW employees already get to drive the F10 around as I spotted 2 different ones in the parking lot out back. Its a good looking car.

BTW, did you get any more shots of the driver? She looks like she was having fun waving to you as she drove by...

 

That's an interesting story. When she passed by, I saw her wave but only later when reviewing the pictures, did I realize she was the snack bar manager. I wanted a Cafe Mocha earlier in the day and had a brief conversation with her. Whether she saw me running to the car to snap a picture and recognized me, or simply likes the attention driving the F10 gives her, I don't know.

PS: It must be nice, just working at the BMW facility, and getting to drive a pre-release vehicle around.
