F10 wing mirror not folding

F10 wing mirror not folding
Hi
my drivers side wing mirror is not folding . The mirror itself can still be adjusted using the controls.
I cant check anything else on the mirror such as auto dimming or the heater because it is a replacement heated mirror but the connector didnt fit (but this was 2 years ago) but the folding function has suddenly stopped working a couple of days ago. I've tried folding it manually and then trying the button but still no luck. Any suggestions please?

I have a bmw code reader. No codes (or rather no new codes related to mirror 🤣
Anyway it started working again today !!

(I did have INPA and ISTA on my old laptop and old car which was E60. My disc is about 10 years old. Will it work on f10 if I loaded it onto my laptop?)
