Kidneys sans slats that is! Really looks lie the X6 and X5 grills will go right in there.
Has the mule always had that front lip and mouth on the bumper also?

I can't remember where I read this, but in an interview Bangle once said that his goal with the E60 was to leapfrog over the next logical design phase for the 5-series that most people expected to follow the highly regarded E39. In other words, a new style from the future that was two bodies after the E39 instead of the 'next' one.
Although it's still quite early obviously, the new 7 and 5's seem to look like they are taking a step backward to the "skipped style" that never was. Hope this makes sense to someone ...
In a weird way it's almost like the E39 begat the F10 and it then begat the E60 ...

Like most of the "spyshots" still too difficult to tell what the actual design is or will look like due to the heavy camouflage. IMO hard to say if I like it or don't because of this...

...........thats exactly the way I see this !! It really does look like a step back , the lack of flaring seems ................blahhh ! Interesting to follow
