I feel like such a tool. I have never scrolled past the first section. I did not know there was a whole new world down here. There's maybe 90 topics started on my crap. Damn. Sorry guys.

I do like 2 design features shown in the pictures:
1. The door handles are on the same plane as the lateral body line. On the E60, the door handles are just below. Moving them up to the lateral body line makes the car look more refined IMHO.
2. I like the quad exhaust. All BMWs with a V8 should at least have dual exhaust (1 on each side) and not 2 tips on 1 side.
If the E60 incorporated these 2 things, then it would be the best looking BMW in the line up. Also all cars in the stable should have a glossy shadowline trim and not flat black.

I hope we get real sounding exhausts with all sport packages, I mean Maserati sounding!
Does Maserati get an EPA sound limit break because its limited production?

Thoughts? I know there have been TONS of them, but this is the latest one and it shares some resemblance with the recently unveiled 7 series so I figured it was a bit more legit. Honestly, I'm not feeling it. I don't like the look of the new 7 and I hope the rest of the models don't take the frontal ques from it.
They say that the new F01 (7-series) looks better in reality than on the pictures (I haven't seen one live yet),
but I do have a problem with the big kidneys.
The LCI facelift on the E90/91 looks really nice.
Still like the looks of the E60, smooth but stands out.

a 6 series with 4 doors ? not so bad
I hate how the license plate is so low too.
And I think the new 7 and the new 5 will still share something, cosmetically, in common. And that's where my fear comes in that it'll be ugly. I believe the 7 series comes into showrooms this October or so, so I'll have to check out my local dealer when I come back home for Thanksgiving.
