It looking nicer now, though i still dont like the side view, the front looks like someone punched it on the nose.

i can see where you are coming from.. i think that i might be bias to my 545i but i like the lines of the e60. this car looks good but it almost seems to edgy.

Pros - New model, new technology including further improvement to engine line-up to the current E60 models (apart from the V10 of course)
Cons - It's an evolution model (hence the design is very conservative, back to traditional BMW styling) and thus design is boring/unimaginative, unlikely to be a big hype compared to when E60 debuted in 2003. I dislike the front significantly!

I believe that the car is closer than ever to the 7-series; some will say this good (luxury and comfort) and some will say that this is a step too far as the new 5er will probably not be as entertaining to drive as the older models.

The attached photo is NOT the official F10 but a rendering! If the headlights looked like that, I'd definitely consider changing my E60!

The F10 is a porker... 4000+ lbs for the 535i.

My 2004 530i weighs in at 3472 lbs.

I do like the F10 though. I'll probably wait until 2012 to get one.

Very well said
F10 is well loaded with technologies and toys but the convervative styling stop me buying really
The electric power steering also kill the BMW-ish feel

Pro's : Interior looks more premium, 8sp aut. tranny.

Con's : Disappointing and boring exterior design, it has put a lot of weight on.
