I know all you guys who have had this feature before on larger engined models will say "told you so", but for me this was a shocker.

Electronic oil measurement was showing 75% between Min & Max....... actual dipstick level was on MIN !!!!!

Car has used that much oil in 23,000K.

If you're an F10 520D owner, check your oil level manually

Where is the dipstick on the 520d located? I didn't know the F10 had one...:confused:

As you stand in front of the car, look to the right hand side of engine below the plastic engine cover - the dipstick has a black plastic top on it.

More detail: towards the rear of the engine - follow the black plastic air intake backwards as a guide.
