I think we don't really know it yet, but keeping in mind that they will build a special version of the 530d, fulfilling the strict EU6 emission standard, that could be the diesel for the US market as well...

Diesel = tq so 530D will produce 540NM and for compare new 550i V8 with twin turbo is 600NM so very close...
And translated to US 530D 398 vs 550i V8 442
