My Ride:
Aside from wipers that don't park when the ignition is shut off, the manually updated clock was about the main bug-bear I have (had) with my two E61's. I have now ordered a new F11 which I take delivery of on 1st June and wonder about the clock.
Have BMW decided to keep it as manually updated and so always inaccurate (not good for the hourly bleep!) or have they "caught up" with other manufacturers of cheap and chearful cars where the clock is signal controlled?
I know it seesm like a small point, especially given the tech which is leoaded into the F10 - but it is a real niggle for me...

Not mine clock.
The F10/11 wiperblades go down automatically but now the problem (in the winter time)
is to get them up.
But after one has switched off the engine AND power (from the Start/Stop knob) the wipers
can be rised to peak position be using the wiper switch by lifting it up over the "fast
mode" level.

Still can't figure out why they haven't included a clock that's set by GPS. Makes no sense whatsoever...
What makes even less sense is that on the F10, there is a setting for the time zone? WTF?
