I like the F10. They obviously took the safe route, merging the 3 series, the 7 series, and even parts of the E39 5 series to create the F10. I have several questions:

You really can see the influence of the e39. I didn't expect to like it, but overall I think it has nice proportions.

My first reaction was, a 7 in the front and a 3 series in the rear. I'm not sure how I feel about it, I do not particularly like the 3 or 7 series right now, the 5 stood out to me and was striking. I'm sure once I see some more of the tech and see if they have even better comfort seats it will grow on me.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the F10. I really didnt think i would like it right away. I was hoping i wouldnt so i wouldnt be itching so bad to get out of my lease. I really want to downsize in FEB 2011, but i could see getting an F10

I also like the fact that it does NOT look like a natural progression from the e60. The e60 was truly a revolutionary design, like none other, and is timeless. I think in 20-30 years from now, certain e60s will be highly sought after classics. I don't think the the F10 will make the E60 look old. I parked my car next to an E39 one day, and it looked "old".
