Default F11 535d Should I be cautious or be concerned

I had a test drive in a 15 plate and the low tire pressure light came on, no puncture observed but then when I tried to change from comfort mode to sport mode it would not happen, the salesman said it is because of the low pressure warning. I obviously don’t agree with what he said. If we stop and change mode it then changes, when driving you cannot change the mode of the gearbox, has anybody any ideas if this is a problem? For example a gearbox electronics issue??

thank you in advance for any thoughts or ideas that you may have
