Hi All,

It's been a while since I have been on this forum. I've had plenty of issues with two different 523i (LCI). Anyway, my lease ended recently - the buyout value was much higher than market value of the car and so I handed it back to BMW Finance and used the money I had saved to buy the car as as equity on a Hire Purchase on a new 530d. This also allowed me to (hopefully) draw a line under the reliability issues I had with the two 523i....

Spec is as follows:
FW52 F10 530d SE Saloon N57 3.0d, A76 Deep Sea Blue, LCCX Oyster/Black Dakota Leather

Options

ZGC Media package ? BMW Professional

609 Navigation system?BMW ProfessionalMultimedia

620 Voice Control

633 Bluetooth phone prep + telematics

ZGF Dynamic package

255 Sport Steering Wheel

2K3 19" V?spoke style 331 alloy wheels

3MB Exterior trim, matt aluminium

481 Sport seats, front

775 Headlining, Anthracite

205 Automatic Gearbox

4CE Fineline Anthracite wood

548 Speedometer w/ KMH read

677 Loudspeaker system ? LOGIC7

One of the options I haven't seen in a real life picture is a choice as part of the Dynamic package (3MB Exterior trim, matt aluminium vs The usual Shadowline). Has anybody seen the matt aluminium in real life and more importantly are there any real pictures of a car with the matt aluminium trim? I would have liked the normal Chrome trim but that wasn't an option.

I'll post some pictures once it arrives. Can't wait!

+1 and really fast delivery.

It's funny that the sound system is called Logic7 in the UK.
Over here its called BMW Professional system.

But then the Jet Black is called over here 668 black.

Well, I ordered 3 weeks ago, so it's 5 weeks from order to delivery - not bad https://5series.net/forums/public/st...ault/twoup.gif

It's funny alright, there are two level's of sound upgrades in the UK and Ireland: Business and Logic7, I'm sure Logic7 is the same as Professional.

As an aside, one mistake I made in ordering was not ordering the Sport Auto (only ?200 extra in Ireland) as opposed to the regular Auto, my dealer said the only difference was the addition of Paddles (which I wouldn't use), but in fact I have subsequently discovered that it also gives an addition to the I-drive software to allow adjustment of throttle and shift responsiveness.

As usual with BMW, one has to go to the internet to get the level of detail us obsessives require...https://5series.net/forums/public/st...fault/nono.gif

It's alright man, no worries, though it is a very nice option for 200euros, but I think you can fix that with a SB2  For now, Don't regret anything and just enjoy dreaming your new coming F10.

Sorry to hear about the Sport Auto; hopefully you'll forget that in 2 weeks time :D

I got the Sport auto in the last minute, an 189 ? extra over here.

Not interested about the Paddles either, but as you said...
