Hello
I have a 530d M Sport on extended test drive over the weekend. The trip computer was reading 28mpg when I picked it up and I reset it. In the first few miles I drove yesterday I managed just 20mpg! Today I've put a few more miles on it and it's up to 24mpg. I'm keeping the sport auto box in sport mode (that's the way I like it or it feels too lazy) and have been driving enthusiastically but that still seems a little low doesn't it?
Thanks

I drove mixed town open road and m/way, and pushed it hard.
The car you drove must be brand new with no miles!, is this correct?.

I test drove the 3.0 diesel M-Sport estate f10, thrashed it where possible and it returned 36 MPG, the car had 300 miles on the clock when I picked it up.
