I was shocked and saddened at the demise of my beloved Trojans, again, and looking or some way to salvage the weekend before the trip back to Idaho, I took my wife and mother-in-law (Yea, what fun...) to the LA auto show. After getting tickets, headed straight to the BMW section of the show. Tore through the massive throngs of pretenders, and looked in vain for the F-10. Finally asked this COMPLETELY hot blond in a BMW suit where it was...and no go....the girl actually asked me what a F-10 was, and when I told her that it was the new five series that made its debut in Geneva, she led me over to the fuggly GT....This is what the new series will look like.... Could not believe it. So, no F-10 to report. A few observations though, you can't swing a dead hooker around that place and not hit a hybrid. Hybrid Cayenne..you have got to be shi**ing me. Hybrid Fords, Hybrid Lexus, and wow, hang on to your seats, a PLUG in Prius....So, if you get a chance some pretty nice rides to be seen. The Drop head Phaeton RR is so much more beautiful in real life than any picture can reproduce. The Stainless steel hood just molds into the windscreen surrounds. The car looks like it was carved right out of a solid piece of SS. The Porsche exhibit is by far the best, although the chicks at the Lexus/Toyota area were very hot. New Jag XJ unveiled...looks like a Bentley now.... More later.

I forgot to mention that I took the first step in securing an F-10 through Phillipe at South Bay BMW. Discussed with him the ED delivery, and it looks like that BMW will start taking orders in mid March and deliveries in late May. No pricing yet, no option packages yet, but did find out from one of the BMW dudes at the show that there might be specific color options on the 550 not available on the others.

F10 is to debut @ the Munich Auto Show March 2010....
aside from the number of hybrids there, I've been told there is an absence of Ferrari, Bentley, and Lambo

I think I saw Bentleys in the South pavilion, but no Ferrari and no Lambo is correct, although they had some "exotics" down stairs with celebrity cars but never bothered to go there..
