So it looks like the LCI 3 series will get the DCT. Surely, the F10 will get a version of the //M DCT too, right?

I have driven a few other vehicles with this technology and it is fantastic.
Another great technology enabled by having faster electronics available. From what I have read, Porsche had developed a system like this sometime in the early 80's, but it never came to the market. But I may be wrong, does anyone know who gets the credit for DCT?
