hi guys , i have been having issues with my car for about 8 months now. i just so happen to live in a place without any bmw dealerships, and i can not drive to one ( island in southeast alaska) my main issue is when i start my car every morning i will get a drive train malfunction , and after it is warmed up i can shut down , and re start and it will go away. but it is persistant.

these are the codes that my ethos are showing
130c10 crankshaft inlet camshaft , reference didderence outside limit value
11802 mixture control mixture too rich
140302 misfire cyl 3 exhaust gas damaging after
140402 misfire cyl 4 exhaust gas damaging after
14002 misfire multiple cylinders exhaust gas damaging after

the work that was done recently was
all 4 varible valve timing solenoids replace oem bmw
air filters oem bmw
bav auto high performance coils
bosch plugs recomended by bav auto
oil full synthetic

any input would be helpful , thanx in advance.

 

i am certain its a bad battery issue. try this...fully charge the battery 24hours...remove the charger when charged and then check the battery voltage. it should be higher more like 13v or 14v.
if its low like 12 or less then most likely you will get this error.
bad batteries cause this error to popup but when the car battery reaches a certain charge it goes away.
a new battery should fix this issue.

 

i will certainly give it a try, i have been getting messages about the battery not being sufficiently charged . thank you.
