Congrats on your new car! Very nice indeed. I am amazed you can get 980km on a full tank before refilling.

Yes, and diesels take quite a few kilometers to break in. I think you can expect the consumption to go down for the next 10.000-15.000 kilometers before it finally settles.

My Ride: Just gone-520d m sport- Jet Black- Dakota Leather black- AluCube interior,
On order- F10 520d SE-Titanium Silver
Straight out of a brochure. Great pic. Delighted to see the 328s do a good job of ''visually'' filling the arches, at least relative to the standard 17s.

3500 km (2174 miles) on the clock now.
I went on a 1500 km drive last weekend.
Car packed with 4 adults and a trunk loaded with clothes and stuff for a 3 day roadtrip the avg consumption was 5,8 liter/100km (40,55 mpg US and 48,7 mpg IMP).
Now THAT'S impressive!
Average speed was about 120 km/h (74-75 mph) - there was very little traffic.

Did you feel lack of power at any time with such a big load?
I'm so happy that the F10 looks so good with the 328's
PS. I have only 2.300 km's.
