To be very honest Ive never seen this t.v show before at all. It aired on the usa network, but for all you f10 lovers it was a 535 sport package...didnt look bad. I felt as though it was a definate marketing tool for BMW. It was clear that all views shown in the show was meant to appeal to new customers. There were clear shots of interior including seats and dashboard and then the rear which clearly showed emblems complete.

Showcasing new cars on TV shows is nothing new.

Last season's "24" was blatantly showcasing Hyundai's new Genesis in many of their episodes.

On the pilot for this show, Annie was being chased in her red VW by Ben Mercer in an e60 5-series. Later you see Ben sitting in his e60 watching Annie...

Remember James Bond?
From what i learned, BMW made a 3 movie deal with the producers.
The Z3 was promoted in Golden Eye. The 750iL in Tomorrow Never Dies and the Z8 in The world is not enough.
Pierce Brosnan even got a complimentary 850 CSI for his efforts to promote the Z3 in Golden Eye
.
Sony Ericsson (and Ericsson before that) have had a lot of product placements in Bond movies.

Big bucks for the movie companies...

And either BMW cheaped out or simply got out bid by Aston Martin.

I'm sorry but as much I like BMW, for me, Bond just doesn't look good in a BMW.....the two just don't go together. Bond is best in an Aston Martin, period.
