To each his own.... I mean I love the M3 and if I was younger and single, I probably be driving one right now myself. But people have different needs and wants in different times in their life. My F10 550i suits me perfectly right now.....it's super fast, super luxurious, and very pleasurable to drive. I have no complaints.

Actually, I am not aware of any sedan at any price that can do 0 to 60 in 3.4 seconds. I am no fan of th Panamera's rear end but you can't deny the car's unparalleled performance for a sedan.

You'd be correct if my production date didn't get bumped from early September to early October...

Not sure exactly why but I assume it had to do with some shortage of parts at the factory -- one of the downsides of checking every box, I guess!

According to Porsche, the Panamera S does 0-60 is 5.2 sec.
According to BMW, the 550i does 0-60 in 5 sec.

Try again....so which is the faster car?

As for a "better" car, it's all a matter of opinion and just because you forked over $120K+ for a car doesn't necessarily make it better.
So according to you faster means better acceleration? No, my friend. Faster means better track times. And with that respect Panamera will bring the fat-ass and detached 550i to its knees easily. BMW 5 Series can't even compete with Audi A6 or Infinity M performance-wise, so we don't even need to bring in the superb Panamera.

Well Rudy, once you finally get your F10, I hope you're prepared for the onslaught of hate (from trolls like BabkenBMW) that'll come your way.

Good thing is, you're a moderator...so you can get rid of these pests.

doubt rudy will engage or entertain the so called "trolls"..

my question, continuously responding to the continuous "onslaught of hate" and calling members "trolls" or "the gestapo" or "pests" or "f10 hater"......is that any better? seems no one has attacked you directly (initially), rather your car (and you always say, it's just a car)....

"those that throw stones...."

not sure what forums you're used to pete, but the mods around here rarely ban members for going against the grain and vocalizing there feelings....

+1 for looking forward to hearing rudy's thoughts on his f10 after he's had a few hundred miles on it...
