My Ride: 2004 jet black 530I, M-tech body kit, ac shnitzer roof and trunk spoiler. kelleners sport exhaust and pully kit on its way from germany.
Very interesting. Can't wait for the actual specs to come out.

Well the video confirms what my expectations about the F10 M5 have been: massive power and speed and very high handling thresholds but with an exhaust note/engine sound that can't hold a candle to the NA V10 in the E60 M5.
If I can afford one. I'll be getting one in March 2012 when my 550's lease runs out.
If it's out of my price range, I'll get the F10 550. I have no doubt that tuners will be able to increase the boost and wring somewhere about 505-520 bhp out of the TTV8's 400 bhp output just as tuners can easily up the 335/535's output from 300 bhp to over 400 bhp. A tuned F10 550 should be faster than the E60 M5.

Wow! Watching the video gets my blood pumping. I want one ASAP!
Scott-The SinghAuto Tune is alredy pumping out 480hp on TTv8. Going to do it on the 7er after
the software upgrade.

480 bhp is great. That's a no brainer to get if you don't mind the risks of voiding the warranty.
But if several tuners can wring over 100 bhp more out of the 335/535's engine, I would think that they can do the same with the TTV8 that will be dropped in the F10 550 that now resides in the new 7. 80 bhp is a lot of gain but I would guess that an over 100 bhp gain is possible.
I would assume that Dinan is working on a tune for that motor. I would consider that if I get the F10 550 as, at least Dinan has its own warranty.

Singh Autosport....never heard of them, but they claim to be the #1 tuner. Weird.
Tried finding YouTube videos of some of their stuff, but all there is is just a crappy M5 video. I wanna see what they did to the N54 engine.

I wonder if the KERS system will be employed somehow - I swear, I distinctly heard not only the turbo "whistle", but some sort of whine that usually would come from an electric motor. I think it'll be a very capable car, but this does make the e60 M5 that much more of a real collectible in the long run IMHO.
