550i easily takes down Jeep SRT8!!

The 550 got a nice jump on the SRT8 and just kept pulling away. Love to see what a tuned 550 could do on the track, how much time before Terry come up with a tune for the 550? My Lease is up next year and I'm thinking I just found my new car!

Impressive! I saw a brand new 550 yesterday with a lady drive. Car looks beautiful but I think it needs a bit more muscle so hopefully an M Tech kit will fix that.
Also just sent my friend the youtube video. He just got an SRT8 and wonder what he'd think of that race. haha

My Ride: 2008 550I LOADED, all options except HUD and NV
Finally saw the F10 550 and 535 at the dealership when my car went in for service, they actually look waaaaaay better in person than in pictures. I really like the look of the car, and the interior is beautiful. Seeing it in person assured that I will be driving 5ers for the foreseeable future, no doubt.

My Ride: 545i Sport Package, Black/Grey. Got it July 09.
Model Year: 2004
this was pretty awesome.
i did kind of expect it though since my car did the same thing to a charger r/t...
the f10 550 has so much potential that the only thing that'll make me consider an e60 m5 as my next car is the sound of that V10. i think f10 550 is my next car tho, unless price is a major factor.

Even better reason for getting the new 550 instead of the SRT8? The 550 is not only faster but gets waaaaaay better gas mileage doing it, my modded SRT8 got a whopping 9 mpg - yep, not a typo, 9 mpg. Any wonder why I got an I6 E60 when I sold the Jeep?

e60 550i - 360hp 360tq 3814lbs
f10 550i - 400hp 400tq 4350lbs!
The difference is only 40hp and 40tq, but the f10 weighs over 500lbs more! Unless the f10 hp and tq numbers are way underrated the two should be very close. My 2 cents.

My Ride: A Car
i sat inside the 550i. I didnt end up driving up. I love the interior but exterior, I still like the e60 more. Thats why I chose the E60 M5. I am also afraid of the turbos associated with BMWs.
