Yea ok, a 5-6 year old A6 beat a new 5-series. Something wrong there.... with the review.

Just read the Car and Driver Review. F10 scored very low in terms of Features (5 out of 10) because many of the features are options you have to pay for. F10 also scored low in steering / drive feel. This scoring is rather mechanical. I take the F10 any time against the Audi A6 and the Infiniti.

Just one magazine's opinion. Contact your dealer, take it for a spin and judge for yourself.
I'd been amazed if every single motor magazine out there had joined the choire of praise.

No mention of whether the dynamic handling was on the car they tested. Besides, these tests are mostly battles of the tires - and the PS2's on A6 definitely is better than the Goodyear Run-flats on F10. Its the little things that make the car "just right" - that's why we mod, no? So how can we really know whether F10 is better than the A6? Weight distribution, center of gravity, suspension geometry and so on - are all objective ratings that were substituted by subjective ratings, like performance, steering feel, brake feel, handling and ride. While it sounds convincing to a layman, I guess, this is all just a bunch of twisting the facts in the current highest sponsor's favor (that'd be Audi). And hey, I like the A6, but that front overhang clearly tells me it is NOT a driver's car.

I agree with you. We should only accept the magazine's ratings when it puts BMW in first place.
