. . . finally

Gene 04-29-2010 06:23 PM

thanks for the heads-up

they add'd an interior 360 view...

does anyone think the premium pkg 2 is really worth it? USB/Ipod integration can be bought separately, and I think that's the only thing I really want out of that list....

#'s are better than I expected  :bash:

ObD 04-29-2010 06:41 PM

Really liking these #'s. Can't wait for the M-Sport pack. I'll be getting PP2 since I'm going 550i with std nav and I always order the CWP which drops the price of the PP2 some more. I want the side and top view cameras too. It's gonna be a long year wait for me.

agreed, hopefully towards the end of this year we will hear more about the m-sport pkg...assuming the f10 m5 rumors are true and it's will be available next june, the m-sport pkg should not be to far off from then...hopefully o:)

Looking forward to scooping up one of these rides in 2012.

Gene 04-29-2010 07:51 PM

so I was looking at the 550i model highlights and I came across this (circled in red). Thoughts?

***edit: clearly it's an e60 550 mtech pic...most likely they haven't updated everything on the site, even the e60 550 engine is still listed under the sport pkg

Gene, the screen shot is messed up. Note that the description of the engine near the bottom is of the E60's 4.8L 360 bhp V8-- not the 400 bhp TT V8 of the F10 550. Me thinks that the website is in transition.

"The next phase in the 5er launch will be in August/September when we will begin to communicate the first information regarding the M-Sport Aerodynamic Packet. The 5er and 5er Touring M-Sport will make their public debut at the Paris autoshow in October and be available immediately after."

thank you for sharing, and so we all continue to wait until aug/sept

Ricracing 04-30-2010 09:38 AM

Yes, the 550i F10 will have a 4.4 liter, V8 with TwinPower Turbo technology.

Seems that a fully loaded 550i costs about the same as my 520dA over here.

We don't have standard leathers seats, metallic color nor 4 Years/50,000 Miles Warranty, 4 Years/50,000 Miles Maintenance Program, 4 Years/Unlimited Mileage Roadside Assistance and
4 Years/Unlimited Mileage BMW Assist? Safety Plan.

We have a 2 year warranty and thats it.
Sucks bad.

But you guys enjoy, get a fully loaded 550iA with 20" wheels.

The M Package will come, but it can take a year or so.

right, but will it be like the e60 where it's in EU exclusively for sometime before the US...

studavis 05-03-2010 11:47 AM

One of the things on the USA configuration is no listing of performance, and also I can't find where the dynamic control package lifts the top speed to?

Richard in NC 05-03-2010 03:22 PM

It looks like I would need to wait past the October turn in of my current 550i to get the M sport package.

For a nice option list, the 550i lists at $72,700, similar to my '08 550i. Adding night vision, the only high $$$ option I'd want, takes it to $75,300.

John@Motorcepts 05-04-2010 10:35 PM

Just priced the 550i the way I want it and it costs $85K!!!!! WTF??????

What the hell did you order on it to get it to that price? Is there a Neiman Marcus edition out that none of have seen?
