Hi All - New to forum and hoping some of the experts in the house can provide some input.


My 2015 550i sport has about 45k miles on it. A few days ago, I noticed that when I stepped on the gas @ high speeds, it jerked pretty bad so i eased off. I don't know why, but I assumed it might have to do with the cold spell we had been getting lately here in Houston. This morning, given that the temperature had warmed up some, I tried again on my way to work. I was going about 40 miles per hr and tried to step on the accelerator a bit but got same jerking. I have read through some of the forums and it seems like it could be a plethora of things wrong. Just wondering on what best approach is. I have an appointment with the dealer for later this afternoon but from the way the gentleman sounded on the phone, sounded like he had never heard of this kind of issue before which i find surprising, given how many threads on this issue there are out there.


My wife drives with our infant in this car moist days so I want to be sure I have this resolved as soon as possible.
