2014 550iX M Sport
I've been hanging out at Seattle Manheim lately and driving a lot of different BMWs (they have a test track there). The car I keep coming back to is a 2014 550i X M Sport. Handles beautifully and has power that pins you to the back of the seat. Has about 46,000 miles on it so it's probably a three year one owner lease turn-in. Near mint condition as far as I can tell.
I presume it has the N63TU engine. Anything in particular I should be keeping in mind on this car? There's not much in the way of service records on Carfax. Is it too soon to tell if this engine is going to have issues like some of the other BMW engines, e.g. the V10. If I purchase it should I go for an extended warranty? Looks like the wholesale on the car is about $30K. |
BMWs are known for costly repairs, always get the warranty if you can.
