Hi guys, I'm the original owner of a 2004 545. The parking light warning light came on yesterday and after inspecting my lights I found the driver side low beam is burnt. Here is my dilema. Should I just look into getting the proper bulb to replace the bad ones? or should I look into getting a new set of headlights. There are 2 lights on either side. So I would need 2 regular headlights and 2 low beams. What type do you reccomend? Thanks in advance!!

Need more info first. Do you have HID or Halogen headlight? But the cheapest way is to replace the bulb that was out with matching spec. If you want difference color (i.e., more white), then you will have to replace the bulbs on both sides.

Hey Xman, adaptive xenons are standard on the 545i. As you have suggested, replacing the bulbs on both sides may be prudent from a time perspective. Both sides are of similar age, with similar life expectencies of the bulbs. The other side may fail at any given moment. I'd replace them both and save the working unit as an emergency backup. Then I'd forget all about it until it's needed
