The Primacies are designed for a quiet ride and not for grip. I insisted that the dealer put them on because people have not reported the bubbling problem in them that has plagued the OEM Goodyears and some of the OEM summer RFTs.
I expect to get more grip and performance as well as ride comfort out of the highly-rated Pilot Sport AS Pluses.

The Primacies are not max summer performance tires. I agree about the PSS's. They are widely praised by so many enthusiasts who own them. I am getting to the point where I don't feel like lugging/switching wheels and tires for summer and winter so I got the Pilot Sport AS Plus. I put them on today. So much better riding than the RFTs.

My Ride: My ex-ride: EU '08 LCI 520dA. Space Grey, Sport Seats in Black Leather/Fabric Anthracite, Sport Steering Wheel, A/C with Extended Features, Hi-Fi Speakers, Cup Holders, Cruise with Braking function, Folding Rear Seats, Xenons, Park Distance Control.
