I've sold some cars and seen 1000's of ads. Your car is nice but your listing on bf is not very good at all, unless of course you don't want to sell it

Points I'd expect to see right up front to even be bothered with asking you for more details:

transmission -auto or 6 spd
ALL options, yours presumably, of course, must have the premium and some others but they aren't listed

PHOTOS! just a couple of the sides are like you are hiding something. I want to see if the rear has parking sensors, if you have nav, ventilated seats, rear side air bags, rear side window shades, if you really have the comfort 20 way multicontour seats, HUD, interior trim, seats condition, door sill condition, door arm rest condition, etc.

I know you say 16k miles, but someone might like to see it on the dash, and maybe the condition of the tires. I'd guess they are newish, but 16k on bridgestone re050a will mean they are almost done vs 16k on my bridgestone 960 all season pole position means they look like new. you have aftermarket wheels, they are not of the highest end aftermarket, and that's ok, but where are the oem, etc, how's the condition of both sets, etc, etc.

Good luck. It's a great car so someone will come along if your price is market fair which I do not know myself for that year but again, the full list of options and other items will only improve your selling position. A window sticker photo is the best thing.

How about the fact that he is making a free ad on this site?

Hi new member here. Just got a 535 xit in January and wanted to change the wheels from the 18" that came with the car as the stance was not quite my liking. Since xit wheel mods have less coverage than non-all wheel drive (or sedan for that matter) I thought I would post the details. Here they are:

Bought replica M6 wheels (Miro 346 from ebay):
-19 x 8.5 with 35mm offset in front
-19 x 9.5 with 43mm offset rear (I ordered 40mm offset but they came in wrong and I didn't bother exchanging)
-Center bore matched up to the original 72.56 original set. I think this means they came "hubcentric" but I am not sure if the meaning "hubcentric".
-Came with center caps and emblems

Bought Dunlop Direzza DZ101 tires (tirerack.com):
-245/35 - 19 fronts
-275/30 - 19 rears
-If I had to do it again I would get a 285/30 - 19 rear. Even though it is only a small change in width, it comes with a small change in overall diameter so the front tire diameter will more closely match the rear tire diameter. After i bought my tires I checked the OEM tire sizes for other BMW x-drive cars with staggered offset wheels; seems front tire diameter is always very close to rear tire which I guess is to put as little stress on the x-drive as possible (wheel speed difference front to rear). Using the 285 series tire would have put me in the same factory tolerance as an X3, X5, or 3 series x-drive with staggered wheels. I am slightly off by using the 275/30-19 but will stick it out as returning was expensive and others seem to have gone this route and are okay.

What's wrong with you...? You are posting your own poor tire size choice in someone's for sale thread?!

Post your ideas in an appropriate tire and wheel thread.

Good luck.
