Would you clean your Catalytic Converter with this?

I saw this video and I'm so tempted to avoid spending $8k at the dealership. I'm so tempted to try it. Any opinions?

I am not sure that I would want to dump 2 or 3 gallons of acetone in my gas tank and into my engine. Who knows what damage might be done to other parts of the engine fuel system, such as pump seals etc. Getting the catalyst off and cleaning in soap might work, however, and not risk damaging engine or other parts. Good luck getting the catalyst off and re-install.

Thank you for responding, Is it difficult to get the Cat Converter off and reinstall?

I imagine so, but really have no idea - would depend on age of catalyst, I guess.

BTW, what makes you think that you need to clean your catalyst?

When Mechanic tole me that they are getting faulty readings off my O2 sensors and dealership had told told me I needed a Cat job since 2018. Right now I am shopping for a diagnostic tool and a repair manual.

Any pointers on a decent good diagnostic tool? I have seen Bavarian Technic, but a little over my budget.

Thanks
