Default Who makes our Airbags?

Since Takata can't tell the truth anymore about anything, who actually does make all our airbags, anybody on here know?

In case you aren't up on this story, Takata airbags have been known to spray shrapnel and kill people when they deploy, the company covered it up and lied about it for years.

The 3 Series is included in the recall, so we know Takata makes at least some of them.

So I am assuming the e6x is currently not on the recall list?

AFAIK, E60 didn't use Takata airbags. Theyre most likely TRWs.

Good, I don't want shrapnel in my neck from a minor fender-bender.

Incredibly unlikely, even with a Takata bag.
