White smoke? M5 wheels?
#1
Hi guys,
I just noticed lots of white smoke when deccelerating as rpm approaches 1,500rpm. Happened only two or three times. But idling and in times of acceleration - it's fine. Car was parked for about 5 to 7 months. Vendor said I have to use it more often. Any thoughts?
Also, I just purchased a set of OEM M5 wheels. I trust this will 'bolt on' perfectly. Size of tires will be OEM as well.
Why is my mpg so poor?! I do about 6.6 to 7 km/ltr on easy driving (50/50 city/urban). I changed the fuel filter already. I saw some threads and realize this varies. Perhaps the quality of diesel in the Phil's is poor?

What offset are you using on your rear tires? ET 17 or et 28. If et 28 then the rear tires are probably rubbing on the inside.. But then again, white smoke sounds like there is something wrong in the engine but then again, this could happen because the car has not been moved for 7 months..
What car do you have? hwre are you located?
