What do you think? Nowadays I have 17" type 138 w/ RFT and I'm quite unhappy with them .. very heavy and not very nice for M-Sport E61. I'm thinking about BBS CK + non-RFT. Might be a big difference in performance/feeling.

Please post your experience if you have similar wheels - is it a big difference in terms of weight and overall handling?

The M5 above is Black Sapphire with BBS CK wheels, in 20X8.5 and 20X9.5 Tires are Michelin PS2, 255/35-20 and 285/30-20

In general the larger the wheel/tire the heavier it is - if you think 17s are heavy wait until you compare them to 20s.

Those BBSs may also be very suitable for real world (read potholes and curbs etc) use - do bear that in mind.

All that said they look good!

I give my car to my wife often so 19"s are not practical even though I love 167's and 166's on E61. Plus they cost at least twice as much. Type m184 is very good too! But also they are about almost twice as much. I thought these BBS would be good as they can stand a lot, meaning potholes and harsh riding.

I used to have m135's and they were great, I liked them very much but I thought I'd use my old 17" for winter from the previous E60 I sold recently. But the ride is significantly worse, I guess it must be the extra weight.

If it stands a lot then get it!
