Which one should I get, a new 2009 330d Touring or a CPO LCI 530d Touring. The price difference is not that big anyway. Is the 5er Touring significantly bigger than the 3er Touring?

Yes, the E61 is bigger than the E91. And new is always better...

What is the year model of the E61?

It 5er is bigger, but it doesn't feel as big as it is. If the 5er is older then someone has already eaten most of the depreciation.

I can't agree that new is always better, I bought CPO because why take the depreciation hit if I don't have to. I could have afforded a new 5er, but since it's automatic 20% depreciation as soon as you sign the paperwork I said "why bother?" with CPO you get a warranty extended to 6yrs/100K as well.

E61 +1 More room is better if u a tall person if not go for 3 it's about how u feel u driving it I had the same options when I bought my 5 brand new 3 or CPO 5 i got CPO 5 cause its more room and I like the look of the E60 the 3series too me is more for single, young professionals. the E60 is more executive (imo) and the 7 is the BOSS..

I did not say that NEW is better, rather that newer is better.

Now THAT we can agree on. Obviously since we are on this forum we should achieve a unanimous vote for the E60 (it appears the only 3er we like is the M3) and since the OP posted here I can assume which way he's leaning anyway.

Actually, now that I re-read my post, I did say that new is better.

I meant that newer is always better!

Either way, we can all agree - get the E61, much nicer car.
