well, after a few weeks, they have finally arrived! Hankook 245/45 ZR 18!! I like the current rims on the car, so...winter rubber off, summer rubber on and then the search for winter rims...and not black steel, yuk... tires on by the end of this week, will report on ride, noise, handling etc. Very good review at Car and Driver http://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/...12_evo_page_10
cheers all...and yes she will get a wash for the next photo shoot

I ordered the same tyres, except for the size, mine are 245/35/19 and 275/30/19, also Hankook V12.
They were tested in germany and became 1st in the ranking, better than Continental and Pirelli..
let's see how long they will last on the rear axle

I almost bought the same tires but the price difference locally was so big compared to the Falken 452's I didn't get them. Looking forward in hearing your impressions on these tires.

I have already Hankooks as winter tyres - Icebear W300 in 245/40/18 allaround, they are really smooth and quite, very good quality, both in snow/rain and dry weather.
This is why I choose Hankook also for summer...

curses, temporarily foiled on getting them installed today, the locking wheel nut key snapped because the bolt was over torqued ...of course there is no BMW dealer in Kingston, thus a trip tomorrow to the Ottawa dealer to get some parts and at the same time have the offending bolts removed and replaced with bog standard ones...then back to the tire place to get the job done...Otto's BMW is so busy they can't change the tires for 3!!! weeks...
report to follow, probably on Saturday...
