Nice find! Interesting how it's spec'd with Shadowline trim and Sport steering wheel but not sport wheels. The only thing that would make this car perfect would be a set of Style124 wheels.

Is the Auto E61 really a Unicorn? I thought only MT's were....just snagged mine from New England too (VT) - listing was up maybe 6 days.

there were about 330 e61s sent to North America with the N54 engine

of those ~330 only about 125 arrived with three pedals

anyone can call N54 e61s what they want, but they are clearly rare models

Interesting observations! In the Northeast years ago, when cars came "standard" with manual transmissions and auto was an option, you generally got a "bare bones" car and everything got tacked on from there. I believe the same is true for bimmers with MT. BMW seems to have given up on the MT fan, just paying lip service to producing a limited run each year. And I hear that in a few years, BMW will stop making manuals all together.
