Hi.

i just changed the wiring harness in the boot of my e61. When i finished and went for a drive, the open boot alarm came in the idrive and the rear wiper doesn't work.
This was not the case before i changed thr wires.

i have checked the wiring two times, all wires are where they should. Really frustrating.

anyone have a clue what this might be?

The wiper will not work unless the booth is closed. If you have some diagnosis equipement (inpa or a high end scanner)you can read the status of the door latches while you play with it

 

Okay. I thaught maybe the micro switch could be the problem. I have carly obd. Will check it out later tl day.
