Default Suspension help(INPA)

PLEASE can you help me does any body know or have setup procedure for setting rear air suspension reason I ask is i have replaced both the air suspension level sensors on the back as i found that they were cable tied on when bought the car and now the suspension went to maximum height, i tried to set it up using ista but it didnt do anything when doing the process and then one of the bags exploded.
since the bag exploded i cant get the compressor to come on and pump the suspension up automaically i have to bridge the wires to the valves and the compressor to pump up like this, then keep measuring with tape to get the height i need but goes down slightly after a week or. i really need some HELP PLEASE with this as i use the car for towing and cant keep doing it like this

Is ISTA giving you an error on the sensors. If you have to bypass the system for the compressor to operate then either your sensors are bad or a fuse is blown.

Didn't you manually add air until it exploded or it did it on its own? How did you measure from the ground to the wheel well. You should of inputted the measurement for the bottom of the wheel (not tire) to the top of the wheel well in cm.

Did you go to service functions and do the 3 checks on the air suspension (sensors, compressor relay and lifting and lowering function)? If not perform those and report back.

Hi thanks for the reply buddy appreciate you getting back to me

ive checked all the fuses they are ok,when i did the calibration on screen it asked me for the rim size which i inputted 17 and then it asked for the rear height left and right which was about 680 ish both sides this was measured from the bottom of the alloy to the wheel arch , after inputting these sizes it said on the screen that it was doing the calibration please wait 10 seconds and nothing happened i tried this 3 or 4 times and still nothing.
after trying again i tried lowering the value to make it lower the car but instead i heard the compressor come on so then i triee again byt adding instead and the compressor come on which exploded the air bag after this and now im scared to do anything with it

what are the service functions as i havent seen these on my ista program
when i did a scan to start with on the car it didnt have any errors with the suspension at all

Ok that was your first issue. To lower the car the number has to be higher. You lowering the number made it pump too much air in your bags and caused it to explode.

You do the tests under vehicle management> service functions> suspension>etc

ok so if i just put the values in for the height normally how come it didnt adjust itself 1st time only did it when i played with the values, shouldnt the air vent to its set height from the manufacturers preset value. yes i replaced the line and air filter and a reloacted it into the boot so its not exposed to the elements like inside the wheel well

You replaced them so they have to be recalibrated. When calibration is done that sets the values. It should of adjusted when the values were entered and you hit ok. That why you need to run the 3 tests to ensure everything is working correctly. I would think it's a sensor issue that's preventing it to level if anything.

when you say calibrated is there a different set up procedure for this or it this the correct way of doing like i have been, how do you see the live data of the what the sensors are reading or can you not do that, as im not sure if they are working now

how do i run the test as i havent seen this option available

Run the test in ISTA as indicated above. I let you know where to go. Yes you were performing the calibration correctly when you entered the rim size and wheel distance.
