I really like how your custom-made LCCC looks. Beige carpets are not the most practical I heard!
LCNG also came with black carpets, black airbag "stickers" and black speaker covers, so I love the contrast. Makes the seats really pop!
For the LCI E61, there were 4,115 cars total for NA, VIN # cx00000 to cx02999 and c237000 to c238114.
The VINs for the manuals were a separate series - CW98xxx, so you don't have to substract them from the 4,115 number.
However, do take into account that about 10% of the 4,115 were Canadian cars, which leaves you with about 3,700 for US alone.

My E61 started life full cream beige and over time I have replaced various interior parts with black oem pieces. The previous owner used this as a family-mobile (obviously) and small children terrorized the vehicle. The seat belts, console, and carpet were the worst with showing their age and thankfully the dakota leather has held up great! I will replace the driver seat cushion at some point and the interior will be nearly in "excellent" condition.
At this point in time the differences between my interior vs. a true LCCC is: I still have a beige cargo area, headliner, and lower dash trim. As you stated, the door pieces are black and I intentionally kept mine beige as I found the contrast distracting.
My wagon will continue to be a statistical black sheep once I get the 6MT and Pano roof delete done!

My Ride: '08 E61 manual
Thank you very much for the info and collecting this E61 info in general. Can you please clarify that graph for the colors? I assume blue is for the US and red for Canada but how do the numbers translate to the production numbers?

Hopefully, Island will also document his tranny swap.
So, for the stats, yes blue is US and red is Canada and each is the number of units produced. (ie. for Carbon Black [416], there were 9 US and 5 CAN, for a total of 14 cars) Unfortunately, I only have this info for the manual LCIs, so the whole CW98xxx series.

Ok, that makes sense, I was thinking 6ATs were included and things definitely weren't adding up, I should have reread the title.

Bringing this one back as I was recently directed to it. May I ask how difficult it would be to get data on the automatic cars as well? Specifically the color and the M-Sport package. The e61 is a fairly rare bird and it's just interesting to see how the mix was on these.
Thanks,
Eric

Historically, brown color is not popular in the US...we wrongfully associated with salesmen. How often do you see a brown suit? I like the color and would like to see more cars with that color, but it is still not popular.

pre-LCI VINs are: CN00000 to CN05106 = 5,107
LCI VINs are: CX00000 to CX02999 and C237000 to C238114 = 4,115
