Hey everyone,

Newbie here, new to forum and BMW. Volvo's since 1988. Anybody here that old!!? Now that I can get some lip on wheel setups I'm left with the dilemma of form vs. function. Everyone seems to focus on staggered, which I love, but it leaves one without the ability to rotate tires for longevity.
Does anyone go with same size front and rear and use spacers on rears to to give the illusion of staggered? It was suggested to me today by someone in the wheel biz and thought it to be not such a bad thing if you can get the look. I'm at risk of getting laughed at but had to ask. I drive many miles and need it to get me where I want to go.

Another thing, my new E61 deserves new rims. 18's or 19's? What's considered a good functional ET? Not too extreme but tasteful. 8.5" rims? If I go 19's will it look ok if I don't lower for now? Do 35's run noticeably stiffer than 40's. Remember this will be same size non-staggered. Any help would be great.
